Section 504 Plans

Section 504 Plans are used to protect students with identified physical or mental impairments or disabilities from discrimination in schools and other federally-funded programs. If impairments substantially limit a student's major life activities, he or she may need accommodations to access the curriculum in the same way as non-disabled peers.

There is a process we go through together to determine whether a student is eligible for a 504 plan and whether accommodations are appropriate. More information can be gotten by reading the attached brochure (linked here) or calling the Counseling Office, please see this link in order to contact your child's counselor.
